West Bragg Creek
The Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association has released two maps showing the conglomeration of trails around West Bragg including the new trails constructed over the past couple of years. The new trails, some of which are still under construction, are “multi-use” trails intended for walking, biking, snowshoeing and equestrian.
The Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association is well on its way to fulfilling their goal of completing construction of 45 km of new trails in the West Bragg Creek area by the end of this season. So far, about 41 km of trails have been flagged and roughly cleared and with about 30 km of that cleared to the 5’ wide by 10’ high standard.
The Greater Bragg Creek Trails Association has completed the first of its planned new trails at West Bragg. Congratulations! To be known as Snowshoe Hare, the new 5.4 km snowshoe trail starts and finishes at West Bragg parking lot. It has been well-signed for snowshoeing in either direction.
