Distance 5.1 km return, height gain 902 m,
strenuousThe twin-headed mountain overlooking Kananaskis Village at 336454 is named in honour of the G8 Summit held at Kananaskis Village in June of 2002. All in all, a very enjoyable route you'll want to do more than once.
Start: Hwy. 40 (Kananaskis Trail). About 200 m north of the Kananaskis Village/Nakiska Ski Area junction, park at the side of the hwy.
Difficulty: Easy scramble
Note: Getting to the lower summit is not as easy as it looks. Expect loose, awkward scrambling down to the saddle.
Looking down to the rocky southwest ascent ridge.
Please refer to the trail description in the guidebook, especially for unofficial, off-trail hikes.
