WEST WIND PASS
Distance 6.0 km return, height gain 375 m, moderate
The trail climbs to a low "pass" between two dramatic pieces of rock: Rimwall to the left and Windtower to the right.
Start: Hwy. 742 (Smith-Dorrien/Spray Trail). 4.6 km south of Three Sisters Dam You can either park where the old dirt parking area was (lake side) or next to the start of the trail on the east side of the road.
Difficulty: Mostly easy hiking, with one slabby section tricky when wet.
Note: There is the option of hiking to the summit of Windtower #81. Although it's called a pass, it would be a difficult, loose scramble to descend to Wind Valley.
