MOUNT LAWRENCE GRASSI
Distance 9.6 km return, height gain 1027 m, strenuous
The high point of Ehagay Nakoda is easily scrambled up from the west via a route of about the same difficulty as EEOR, but lacking the latter’s route-finding problems. Conversely, there is much more vertical height to climb.
Start: Hwy. 742 (Smith-Dorrien/Spray Trail). Drive south and crosses the bridge overthe canal. Immediately turn left off the highway onto the canal access road (track) and park just before the gate.
Difficulty: Steep, though easy, scrambling and endless scree.
