TRYST LAKE
Distance 6.6 km return, height gain 260 m, fairly easy
Tryst Lake, being of the bathtub variety, drains underground and is disappointing in the fall. Nonetheless, this is the time the trail is at its busiest, with a procession of larch lovers coming and going.
Start: Hwy. 742 (Smith-Dorrien/Spray Trail). Turn west onto Mt. Shark Road. In 1 km turn left onto a side road and park a little way in.
Difficulty: A short climb on good trail.

Please refer to the trail description in the guidebook, especially for unofficial, off-trail hikes.
