MOUNT HOWARD

Mount Howard is actually an easy scree ascent, but long. The shortest route follows a staggeringly beautiful ridge which is also described in Andrew Nugara's More Scrambles in the Canadian Rockies.
Start: Powderface Trail (road) via #60 Upper Canyon Creek.
Difficulty: An easy scramble.
Note: Mount Howard can also be climbed from the north fork of Nihahi Creek, see #51A.
  • View from 413366 of the final stretch of ridge to watershed.
