SOUTH MIST HILLS
Distance 14.3 km loop, height gain 959 m, strenuous
These hills are three small grassy summits, 542999 (west), 547002 (east) and 538016 (north), located at the south end of Mist Ridge between Mist Creek trail and Picklejar Creek. Accessed from the Mist Creek trail, they offer shorter alternatives to the long ridge, but require a little more off trail expertise in route-finding. All three hills can be ascended by combining #32A and #32B
Start: Hwy. 40 (Kananaskis Trail) at Mist Creek day-use area.
Difficulty: Good trails most of the way. Some routefinding required.
