ODLUM POND
Distance 24.6 km bike-hike, height gain 314 m, moderate
Odlum Creek is a bushy and wet valley with a maze of overgrowing logging roads. However, it is also one of the premier larch locations in K Country. The most reasonable hike–bike destination is Odlum Pond, an easy walk to a reflecting pond exquisitely placed below a string of waterfalls.
Start: Logging road, biking start: Lineham Creek day-use area.
Logging road usual start: Most hikers park on the shoulder of the highway 1.3 km north of Lineham Creek day-use area.
Difficulty: Easy biking on old logging road then good trail to pond.
Note: To explore other areas at the head of Odium Creek it is best to backpack, camping at the old sawmill site.

Please refer to the trail description in the guidebook, especially for unofficial, off-trail hikes.
