Distance 7.0 km return, height gain 183 m, fairly easy
This easy and popular trail (in part an old logging road due to be reopened within the next few years) is the standard route to Big Iron Lake, which is stocked with Grayling.
Start: Hwy. 532 (Johnson Creek Trail). 4.5 km west of Willow Creek bridge park at Johnson Creek designated random camping area on the east side of the highway just north of the bridge over the north fork.
Difficulty: Easy hiking
