Distance 7.8 km return, height gain 305 m, moderate
One of our favourite snowshoe trails climbs steadily through the forest to a long-narrow lake below Mount Serrail.
Start: Upper Lake parking in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park.
Difficulty: A well-marked, usually broken trail, with a moderately steep grade.
Note: While you can snowshoe to the end of the lake, be aware that the tempting slopes on either side are potential avalanche slopes.

Please refer to the trail description in the guidebook, especially for unofficial, off-trail hikes.
