Distance 14.8 km return, height gain 670 m, moderately strenuous
A high pass in the Kananaskis Range with a million dollar view of Ribbon Lake.
Start: Hwy. 742 (Smith-Dorrien-Spray Trail) at Buller Mountain day-use area.
Difficulty: A well-marked trail with occasional steep sections. Near the end switchbacks on scree and slippery shale. All creekcrossings are bridged.
Note: The trail up to South Buller Pass is in excellent shape, the first bridge having been replaced. Otherwise, there are only a couple of very short sections with some trail erosion.
