Distance 5.4 km return, height gain 457 m, moderate
A favourite trail that is now unmaintained. Views of both Kananaskis lakes will have you reaching for your camera at every twist and turn.
Start: North Interlakes day-use in Peter Laughed Provincial Park.
Difficulty: Generally a good trail with one steep section where the trail is eroded and the footing either loose on shale or slabby. Occasional grizzly sightings in the meadows.
Note: The trail to the junction of the south summit route and the Indefatigable Outlier is better than it has been for years. The flood has flushed most of the loose gravel off of the trail.

Please refer to the trail description in the guidebook, especially for unofficial, off-trail hikes.
