Canadian Rockies eHiking guide available in Tablet and Mobile versions
The Mobile edition of Best Hikes in the Canadian Rockies addresses the problem of taking a readable eHiking guide with you on the trail. Hikers can now have a Tablet (or computer) version to browse through at home and a Mobile version on their smartphone to refer to when hiking.
Buy the Tablet edition and get the Mobile version for free
The Mobile edition is not just a scaled-down version of the Tablet edition; it’s been re-formatted using legible type styles for readability in the outdoors. While it contains all the trail descriptions and maps, it only has 77 of the tablet version’s 240 colour photos.
Both the Tablet and Mobile versions are bookmarked and hyperlinked for ease of use. They are pdf files that can be read by any pdf reader that supports bookmarks and hyperlinks, such as iBooks or GoodReader for Apple devices or ezPDF Reader for Android devices. There are, or soon will be, suitable readers for other tablets and smartphones.
Before buying, you can download sample pages from the Mobile version to test that bookmarking and hyperlinking work on your device
Best Hikes in the Canadian Rockies is the ideal hiking guide for the visitor to the Canadian Rockies, offering a selection of the best day hikes from Banff to Jasper including stunning hikes around Lake Louise and Yoho National Park, the mecca of Canadian Rockies hiking.
