Distance 12.4 km return, height gain 771 m, moderately strenuous
The south summit of the Mtount Baldy massif at 372519 is gained from Baldy Pass via its long south ridge; an enjoyable ridgewalk with one scramble step.
Start: Via #9 Baldy Pass from the south at the actual pass.
Difficulty: Easy scramble. There is the odd steep section and some scree, but a trail makes things easy. Nearly halfway along, the south end of Baldy is the perfect stopping place for those who want to call it a day.

Please refer to the trail description in the guidebook, especially for unofficial, off-trail hikes.
