Distance 5.4 km return, height gain 442 m, moderate
This is a steepish but straightforward hike up a nameless valley clothed in highwaving grass through, which generations of game have flattened a trail to a nameless col below a nameless ridge.
Start: Hwy. 40 (Kananaskis Trail). Park in a lay-by on the north side of the highway 7.8 km south of Mount Lipsett day-use area, 3.6 km north of Mist Creek day-use area.
Difficulty: Easy hiking on good trail.
Note: People who can navigate sans trails often return via Nameless Ridge. See #33A. Another option is #33B Mist Mountain Hot Spring. This trail is also the scrambler’s access to Mist Mountain via the south face and east ridge. See #34.
