CATARACT CREEK – TITAN FALLS
Distance 6.6 km return, height gain 50 m, easy
The most popular hike from the campground takes you to the upper falls of Hercules and Titan via the west bank trail. This means wading the creek, an easy crossing from mid summer onwards. It has been hiked/snowshoed in winter—about 10.6 km return.
Start: Cataract Creek Campground from camp sites #27 on A Loop or #73 on B Loop. Day visitors should use the parking area on the right just before the campground entrance signed "Mount Burke trail." In winter, the campground gate is locked and you will have to park in the day-use area on the other side of the highway.
Difficulty: Generally good trails with some gaps across the flats. You need to wade Cataract Creek. See map
Note: Here is a track log of the trail gpx
