Distance 3.4 km return, height gain 40 m, easy
The Elkwood Loop takes you through pleasant forest to scenic Marl Lake, where good views of Mount Indefatigable await. The loop can be completed in either direction but clockwise seems to be the preferred choice.
Start: Elkwood Amphitheatre parking lot.
Difficulty: Easy snowshoe or winter walk.
Note: Add an extra 0.7 km from William Watson Lodge. For a fuller day, the route can easily be combined with Marsh Loop via the William Watson Connector. See sketch map
