Distance 8.1 km loop, height gain 214 m, fairly easy
This loop takes you higher into more open country with terrific views of the Fisher Range. On the return down Lusk Creek valley it is interesting to see how the old road has been transformed into an enjoyable hiking trail.
Start: Hwy. 68 at Lusk Creek day-use area. About a kilometre east of Hwy. 40.
Difficulty: Easy hiking on good trail.

This loop is a good winter walk or snowshoe on a sunny, windless day as it is mostly in the open.
