Still Winter Chester Lake–Burstall Pass Area

Tony Daffern Apr 30, 2011 0 comments

Trailhead information kiosk at Chester Lake trailhead April 28th. The supports broke due to the amount of snow sitting on the little roof.  Alf Skrastins says “It’s fully winter out there now!” Thanks for the photo Alf.

The New and Fabulous Guinn's Pass Trail
The southern half of Guinns Pass trail was rebuilt this summer after the 2013 flood damaged the original route up that dreadful avalanche gully. It is perfect for campers at Lillian Lake who can visit the pass, peak 237374 and Galatea Lakes all in one day.
