When we go down to the Sheep River area of Kananaskis Country we often get up early and drive to Turner Valley for breakfast. One of our favorite places is Coyote Moon, one block north of the main junction on Hwy 22 (Main Street). It has a pleasant, rustic atmosphere with local art (for sale) on the walls and friendly staff.

A new website was launched January 1 to provide information on the Kananaskis Country gateway communities of Millarville, Turner Valley, Black Diamond, and Longview. Diamond Valley’s Open Roads will cover community events, dining, boutique shopping opportunities and activities for locals and visitors.
